All About Me
A creative and resourceful teacher and student
Hello! My name is Liz Sacks, and I have been teaching violin lessons and viola lessons online and in person for over 5 years to over 250 students from all over the world.
The best thing about teaching music is sharing something I deeply love with others. I’m honored to be part of my students lives, teaching them to express themselves through music, and share that love with others!
My background is in early childhood education where I received training in educating neurodivergent children. I carry this with me as a music teacher, and I specialize in adjusting my instruction to each student's unique needs and learning styles. My style of instruction is centered around the student. My ultimate goal is to share a joy and love for music, because I believe music is for everyone.
I strongly believe in the power of learning, and am currently working towards a bachelors in music education at Moravian University. I believe that it takes being a good student to be a good teacher, and that learning never stops. My students benefit from my ongoing journey, as they have access to my growing skills and resources.
